I really feel if one is going to write about something, they should really understand what they are writing about. They need to do research about something they obviously no nothing about. Looking at one source is not research. I like how they wrote in the article explaining Rheumatoid Disease which they do not even have a clue it is no longer called an arthritis due to the complication and life threatening results it can have on an individual including death. They write:Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory disorder that may at first attack the small joints in the hands and feet, according to the Mayo Clinic. It is an autoimmune disease that affects the joints’ lining and can cause bone erosion, but may extend to the internal organs. For some people, rheumatoid arthritis can become very severe. According to the CDC, it can cause premature death or permanent disability. There’s no known cure. A more in-depth look at rheumatoid arthritis can be found on the CDC’s website. To an individual living with Rheumatoid Disease and fighting everyday to stay alive may have a more accurate explanation of Rheumatoid Disease. Yes they are correct in a vague sort of way. Some of us live daily living the unknown of our future. We pray to God that he has a future for us and up on our faith is what helps us through believing in a tomorrow. When our Rheumatoid Disease rages through are small and large joints and not a few however just about all of them. Then it try’s to take over our bodies by attacking us internally as our organs from one to all swell in an intense speed, pain and causes the organs to start or shut down. As this is happening internally the outside body is also swelling in a speed that your feet and hands turn purple/red, neck swells, ears turn red. Feet swell so fast from time to time it cause toe nails to fall off. Or you can be laying down or sitting as you put pressure on your feet to stand up and you the pressure causes a fracture in the foot. Some of us have tried just about every combination that is out there to keep in under controlled. There are individuals living with this on their last resort drug to keep them alive as nothing else is out there and when it stops working they only can pray that there is a new drug FDA approved they may try. For some an all day affair being around 6 hours chemo treatments; 2 rounds every 5 months for the rest of their lives to stay a live as it is not a cure as it can be for different types of cancer patients whom receive the same type of chemo. There is no chance of curing the one taking it for Rheumatoid Disease just treating it. Some it may last 6-9 months and other verily make 5 months. God is wonderfully and merciful. He loves each of us more than we can ever imagine and wants the best for us. He wants us to wait on him and understands we are human and how difficult that can be. This is at times a test of our faith in him or just what he has planned for us is not lined out and he is working on the details to open the doors for us to succeed even when we have no idea what that is; he does.
Did you know grace is joy? Look for God within yourself. Grace of the Holy Spirit shines on us and warms our whole body. The overflowing of delightful smells in the air around (such as flowers, herbs, different foods) us open our senses with heavenly love that fills our hearts with smiles and the grace of God. When you feel and since Gods presence in our lives we become calm knowing God has our backs and knowing this makes all our problems minimal to what we thought they were. This is a way healing of your thoughts and emotions and gives such wonderful peace and spiritual strength. Remembering God is your strength and your joy and your peace.
When you are feeling downcast, even in times of grief and loss, God’s joy us still there.
(Nehemiah 8:10 NIV)Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
So go have a blessed day knowing God is walking beside you and thank you for visiting our blog and come back to be inspired. This was the second chemo treatment of a two-part series (an all day affair from about 9am to about a little before 4:00pm) and round 14. I have serve Rheumatoid Disease/Lupus/ Fibromyalgia where my organs swell and shut down and this is what keeps me alive without it I would not be among the living and there is no guarantee as it only controls it to a point. It helps with my organs from shutting down, swelling, Lupus rashes, legs/feet going purple on me and pain. I also take other medications to be able to hold out for 5 months. I just do not take medication, I do a combination of things from medications to natural remedies’ that help keep me feeling good and enjoy life. A few examples would be yoga, massages, Aloe vera juice and many more. This is not a cure as there is no cure for any of the chronic diseases I have. It should last 6-9 months and it only last verily five months on me. This is an ongoing event for me, I’m not thrilled about it however it bets the alternative. Another blessing by doing this every 5 months, I meet some of the most wonderful individuals every-time I visit they say I inspire them, however I feel the complete opposite as they truly inspire me. The adorable hat, you see amongst my head was made by Ms. Terry B.. Who is fighting a form of cancer and she made it for me. WOW that means so much to me. She will be ringing the bell on September 3, 2015, as it will be number 6, so excited for her. Another blessing I receive is the caring and thoughtfulness of the nurses that take care of me when I’m there. They make you feel special and they do it for everyone having a treatment, not just certain individuals. I over heard a gentleman telling the two main nurses they cannot be out at the same time because he missed out on being spoiled by them. I had to smile as I feel the same way. I have been watching them interact with patients for a little over 3 years and they never change. They work so hard and hardly have time for a break as the patients come first. Since, I must have these chemo treatments, as I call it God’s way of keeping me healthy at this moment in my life. I am so glad he chose this facility. YES IT IS REAL!!!
